The above Trust is constituted by a Trust Deed, dated 13-07-1995.

 

2.         The registration application u/s 1 2A(a) of the Income Tax Act was filed on

15-12-2000, i.e., after a considerable delay.

 

3.         As sufficient justification has not been given for the delay in filing the application, the Trust is registered with effect from the date of application 15-12-2000.

 

4.         The application has been entered at No.144/2000-2001 in the register u/s 12AA maintained in this office. The Trust is, accordingly, registered u/s 12AA of the Income Tax Act from the assessment year 2001-2002. It does not automatically mean that its income will be exempt u/s 11 & 12 of the Act, which will be examined independently by the Assessing Officer.
